Pietrapertosa is a country of a thousand inhabitants, over the highway and the highway 407 to 4 lanes (Basentana) of up to 10 km away. The town is a medieval structure, disposed on the characteristics of "Lucan Dolomites."
The surrounding area is mountainous, with a prevalence of woods, but also with areas of pasture and farmland. There are numerous hiking trails, though not always well marked, located in the woods of Montepiano. Another walking route is the SO-CALLED "path of the 7 stones", which links to the nearby Pietrapertosa Castelmezzano. In addition, it is possible to reach Pietrapertosa, visit the surrounding Basilicata: the Sassi of Matera to 80 km, the nearest Castelmezzano 10 km away by car, the abandoned villages of Campomaggiore (Km 15), Cracow (70 Km).

The main tourist attraction is the "Angel's Flight" for anyone who wants to take away the satisfaction of flying hanging from a cable.

We manage two caratheristic apartments,in the buinding that has been the post office of the town for about 70 years.

Both the apartments are located in the center of Pietrapertosa, few meters from the departure

of the "Angel's Flight".The houses are equipped with sheets and towels. they didn't have a private parking but the car can be safely left in the free public car parks. There is room for bikes right in front of the apartments.

The apartment has 6 beds located in 3 rooms: a double and a single bed in a typical large bedroom, a sofa bed in another room, and a final single bed is available in the living room. The house is equipped with a bathroom and kitchen. The house is equipped with linen and towels.

The apartment has a big room with 1 bed king size. There is also a kitchenette and a few of tipical stuff of the coutryside. There is also a little but cartattehrist bathroom. That room was the old post office of Pietrpertosa and you will find in this house lots of thing of that old job.
